Are you an engaged and driven special education teacher who is passionate about creating conditions for every student to reach their full potential? Tegelbruksskolan and Åbyskolan, parts of Klippan High Schools, are high schools that focus on providing our students with the best possible support to succeed in their studies. We have over 700 students and about 90 staff members. We offer 9 national programs as well as introductory programs. Our programs include Construction and Civil Engineering, Child and Leisure, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Vehicle and Transport, Sales and Service, Natural Science, Social Science, and Health and Social Care programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, structure, implement, and follow up on work related to special support and extra adjustments
  • Coordinate work with special support and extra adjustments and promote consensus, collaboration, and equity for all our students
  • Map and analyze students' needs for special support and extra adjustments
  • Provide support to students both in groups and individually to improve their academic results and well-being
  • Collaborate with educators and other staff to adapt teaching and create accessible learning environments
  • Drive and follow up on pedagogical measures for students with special needs
  • Provide guidance and support to educators to develop their competence regarding inclusion and support measures
  • Work preventively and promote the school's work with safety and inclusion
  • Document and follow up on students' development and results

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a degree in special education
  • Has experience working with students in need of special support and extra adjustments, preferably from high school
  • Has good knowledge of current governing documents and methods to provide support to students in need of special support and extra adjustments
  • Is solution-oriented, flexible, and can adapt work and support according to each individual's needs
  • Has the ability to create good relationships with students, educators, colleagues, and guardians
  • Has a pedagogical approach and a strong commitment to each student's development
